PRIVACY POLICY.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to Amaroo Civil (Vic) Pty Ltd [ABN 13 679 777 005] (“Amaroo Civil”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Amaroo Civil seeks to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”). The APPs govern how we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information.

  • philosophical beliefs,

  • membership of a professional or trade association,

  • membership of a trade union,

  • criminal record,

  • genetic information that is not otherwise health information,

  • biometric information used for automated verification or identification, and

  • biometric templates.

Why We Collect Information

We may need to collect your personal information so we can operate our business effectively and deliver our services.

Amaroo Civil will not charge a fee for your access request, but we may charge a reasonable administrative fee for providing copies of your information.

To protect your privacy, we may require proof of identity before releasing any personal information.

Correcting Your Information

If you believe that the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, please contact our Privacy Officer.

If we do not agree that your information needs to be corrected, we will let you know why, and explain what you can do if you are not satisfied with our response.

Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about a breach of this Privacy Policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact our Privacy Officer.

You may also make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via https://www.oaic.gov.au.

We will investigate your complaint and aim to resolve it within five (5) working days. We will confirm the outcome in writing once the matter is resolved.
